Ed Nardoza is currently the Associate Editorial Director of Fairchild Fashion Group, with editorial responsibility for the company’s business publications. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Women’s Wear Daily, a position he has held since 1991. Prior to WWD, he was Editor of the Daily News Record, the business/fashion publication for the men’s wear industry. He joined Fairchild in 1978 as a general assignment reporter for Footwear News.

At WWD, Nardoza expanded the paper’s international coverage, marketing, media and financial beats, and steered its reporting into varied distribution channels. During his tenure, the paper has targeted coverage of numerous vertical industries, and launched new publications and special editions, including WWD Collections, a twice-yearly consumer/business hybrid covering the international collections scene, WWD Scoop, a four/times a year magazine covering international fashion and culture, WWD Century and WWD Ninety, histories of the industry and the newspaper, respectively, and BeautyBiz, a magazine about strategies in the cosmetic and fragrance businesses.

A native New Yorker, Nardoza is married, with two children. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in English.
